Since 2009, Mr Krishna Epari and Fremantle Hospital have been major contributors to the Australian Pancreatic Cancer Genome Initiative (APGI) run by the Garvan Institute in Sydney.
This important study aims to catalogue all the genetic abnormalities found in pancreatic cancer and will promote further research in developing new cancer treatments which can be tailored to individual patients.
